MY POEM IS YOUR POEM
D.C. November 20, 2008
Yes, the poems seem small, but what
You thought your own so big
Guess what, we all sang our own song
We are all small
Only as big as the good we can do
No, hate and fear don’t count
Why??? Why you say??? Why
Look around you with opened eyes
Dare you now say ‘why’
Within the small may be hidden….greatness
Even the smallest part of life
Our life, yours and mine
Counts by the ripples it makes
The ripples become the wave
The wave is life
Do we crash and disappear
Or do we lessen our loads
Sail into a future where we can smile
Where a song blesses each day.
