I SHOWED HER ONCE


I proved to her that I am stronger
When she bared her fangs to me
To separate my children from me
Refuse me the privilege of knowing Them
To be proud of the young life
Climbing to meet their future
My children, my girls, my sons
I gave her an ultimatum
I said
"Mother, you bore me
We know your stubbornness and strength
My father is a proud and stubborn man

I am the product of the both of you
I inherited the stubbornness of both

She bowed to that promised threat
Made it in a way to save face

Sending them across our nation
From east to west
My god I love them all

Since like and love do not share well
